How do you know our Carbon Footprint if you can’t tell what we have actually purchased?

Through the Carbon Manager your purchases are assigned to a category. Using data across the economy we know that the average spend in that category equates to a certain amount of carbon emissions. So we’ve assumed that your purchase reflects the average. This means that sometimes we’ll over estimate your footprint, and sometimes under estimate.
